Faith Partner Prayer & Blessing Lunch & Learn

Tammi Ector

Hello, dear Faith Partners and all,

Last month, Jeff Gambrell, our Community and Relations Impact Director, posted the updates on Serve City's new 2025 housing programs that our Move Forward Program Director, Dustin Bowman, provided. I hope you've all had a chance to read that February Post to learn how God has blessed us to help more individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity to not only obtain housing but to have the enhanced supportive services needed to remain housed and to lead sustainably successful lives.

So, this month, I am letting our valued faith partners know about another exciting opportunity to be among the first in the community to visit The Source. Everything that happens in The Source - formerly our food pantry, now a multi-ministry, multi-use space that evolved as a more sustainable model for Serve City that still blesses those experiencing food insecurity internally and within the larger community, has a meal connected to it. This special event opens The Source for you to see, hear, and experience it in person! Next Friday, March 21st, from 12pm-1:30pm, Serve City will host a Faith Partner Prayer Blessing Lunch and Learn. Faith, fellowship, food, and facts about Serve City, including fun tours, make this an event we hope you don't want to miss. Together, we will circle up and pray blessings over the ministry and all the residents and tenants in emergency shelter and transitional housing, as well as for those who will soon reside in the youth and permanent supportive housing. We'll also pray for our dedicated team, board, donors, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and stakeholders. While it's important for those we serve to become housed and stable, we believe it is vital that they come to know Jesus Christ, the true Source of abundant life. That's why we have all come to love The Source, and we believe you will fall in love with it, too.

Speaking of love, as we wrap up our Love Your Neighbor Campaign today, we ask that you take some time to check out Serve City's social media platforms - FB, Indeed, and Instagram. TikTok - to view spontaneous, heart-felt, and heart-warming posts from all the above on why they love Serve City. My heart's desire and prayer is that you'll read, like, comment, share, and give to show that you love Serve City, too.

Blessings!

Serving Him at Serve City,

Dr. Tammi Ector
